Kind of lengthy, but at least we are honest with you about our rules. We like to keep the peaceful vibe going, and that happens by respecting each other. We strive to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests. To help maintain this, we kindly ask that you observe the following rules: Smoking, Marijuana & Vaping: Please, no smoking, vaping, or use of marijuana or illegal substances anywhere on the property. Smoking is permitted at least 15 feet from the front or back doors. Be sure to dispose of cigarette butts responsibly (in a bottle or proper container) to avoid fire hazards. A $250 fee will apply for deodorization if smoking occurs indoors. NO EXCEPTIONS No Events or Gatherings: To ensure a peaceful environment, we do not permit events or gatherings, and no visitors are allowed between 9 PM and 8 AM. If you are having a small gathering, please message us for approval ahead of time. On occasion, we made exceptions for holidays and celebrations, but not all the time. ID Verification: For safety and security, we require a clear picture of a government-issued ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport) for each adult guest via the platform chat upon booking. If you mark anything off, the requirements are Full name, photo, Date of birth, and City. This is to let our insurance carrier know who was in our place when something happened, like a fire. No Eating in Beds: We provide a dining room table for meals to keep our space clean and comfortable for all guests. Eating in bed causes stains, and sometimes we have to replace sheet sets, and that gets expensive. Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 8 AM out of respect for the neighbors, and no visitors are allowed within this time frame Safety: We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that may occur while on the premises. Mail/Packages: Please note that we cannot accept mail or USPS package deliveries at the property. Please use Amazon, FedEx, and UPS they are accepted. They will be left at your front door, we are not responsible for missing packages. No Open Flames: For safety, no burning candles or open flames are allowed in the apartment. Pet Policy We welcome well-behaved and house broken dogs (up to 50 lbs) with the following guidelines: A $50 pet fee applies per dog, per stay. LIMIT 2 Please note that NO cats are allowed due to allergies. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed, and they must be house-trained and both under 50lbs. Dogs must be crated when left alone, and a $100 fee will apply per occurrence if this rule is not followed. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. $250.00 if they are found to be on the furniture. Please clean up after your dog immediately when outside. No bathing pets in our sinks or tubs. Why we have rules are to prevent asking for a daily deposit like hotels. Most hotels are $25-50 per animal per night, we keep fees low, but that’s why these precautions are taken. If a pet is not declared on the reservation, a $200 fee will apply. Check-out time for guests with pets is 10 AM to allow for additional cleaning. You MUST check traveling with pets and let us know what type of pet it is before instant booking so we can see if it meets our Late Check-Out: If available, late check-out at $20 per hour. Please contact us to arrange this in advance, and we’ll send a resolution request via Airbnb for any additional fees. Unapproved late check-out: $40 for every 15 minutes beyond check-out time. Security & Safety: We have security cameras at the OUTSIDE front door for everyone’s safety. Disabling or tampering with these devices will result in a $250 fee and immediate termination of your stay without refunds. This includes covering them and hitting them. Cleaning Fees: Sofa stains: $100 extra cleaning fee or excessive pet hair. Pets are not supposed to be on furniture, so our cleaner charges us extra to get all the hair out. We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything, please let us know immediately - if it's something minor, we won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen or furniture, kitchen appliance, etc!) we would like to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later.
